ABOUT VAX4GOOD
Vaccines4Good was founded in 2019 by Kinkaid School students to bring mobile vaccine clinics (including flu, coronavirus and childhood vaccines) to our community in order to improve access and the convenience of getting life-saving vaccines.
We have partnered with Walgreens and the Texas Vaccine Institute (“TVI”) to offer mobile vaccine clinics, focusing on the flu and COVID-19 vaccines.
Since 2019, Vaccines4Good has vaccinated over 2,500 individuals with the flu and Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccines. We have held multiple clinics for flu and coronavirus vaccines at the Kinkaid School, a coronavirus clinic at the ECHOS Food Bank, a coronavirus clinic at Liberty High School (serving refugee and immigrant students on the Sharpstown International School campus), two coronavirus clinics at the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, a coronavirus clinic at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (health fair for church consortium), and other community centers throughout Houston.
Our Mission
To increase awareness on the effectiveness and importance of timely vaccination and expand access of critical vaccinations to marginalized communities. Our website also regularly promotes blog content spotlighting vaccine innovations, public health information, and analyses of medical disparities.
